Manufacturing Plants
Bring PLC, SCADA, and IoT data onto one dashboard — giving plant managers real-time visibility into production, OEE, and stock, instead of a floor walk.
What Makes Manufacturing Plants Different
On a manufacturing floor, the systems that actually run production — PLCs, SCADA controllers, individual machine sensors — usually don't talk to each other, let alone to the ERP system finance and purchase run on. A plant manager ends up walking the floor to find out what a dashboard should already be telling them.
That disconnect shows up hardest in OEE — overall equipment effectiveness is only useful as a number if it's calculated from real machine data, not a manually compiled shift report written up after the fact, by which point the downtime that caused it can't be traced back to a cause.
The same gap extends into raw material and finished-goods stock: without inventory tied to the production line in real time, plants either overstock components to be safe or run into a line stoppage waiting on a part that finance didn't know was low.
