Transport operators, warehousing firms, and cross-border trading businesses based in Siliguri deal with fleet tracking, multi-destination shipment coordination, and customs-adjacent documentation that off-the-shelf accounting software doesn't handle well. Between the Durgapur-Asansol industrial belt, Kolkata's jute mills and wholesale trade, and Siliguri's logistics corridor, West Bengal's real software demand looks far more industrial and trade-heavy than the commercial-gateway image the state is usually sold on.
